Last Remaining Relative
Can anyone one help?
If all the family are in Australia including my mum on a bridging visa while applying under the aged relative visa.
My sister will be here on her own, she wants to apply under the last remaining relative visa.
Is this possible whilst my mum is on a bridging visa or does my mum have to be a premanent resident.
There is an urgency as my sister has an 18 year old dependant child.

One of the agents will be along later, I'm sure, but I think your mother has to be on a substantive visa here in order to qualify as resident. If in doubt, why not give one of the many agents a ring for a quick consultation?

If this is so urgent you ought to have already sought professional assistance.
And if your mother is planning to turn up as a tourist with a plan to stay longer, that's not a good idea either.
