just starting out
hi all,
i have been planning to go to oz since i can remember and now i think i am Eligible under the skilled 176 sponsored visa (father is in australia as is my aunt)
i have been researching loads and i think my head is gonna explode with all the information, ahhh.
a few things i need help with:
1. is there a way i can check 100% i have the points, an agent told me i have the points to qualify
2.what are my first steps? should i use an agent/ lawyer? i have spoken to a couple of agents etc they seem expensive, are they worth it?dad seems to think i can i go it alone?
3. how can i get hold of my university transcript to prove my degree?
4. do i apply to vetassess with all my info and get skills tested? what happens if i miss out some info?
please help, this all seams so scary but i know its worth it to see my new sister growing up(she just 1year now)
thanks
M.D

1 - You can check your eligibility on www.imi.gov.au
2 - Depends if you know what you are doing or not. That's the beauty of an agent, they know all there is to know about how the process works.
3 - Can't help with the Uni transcript, sorry
4 - If you miss out info then you won't pass, it's that simple. This is when an agent is good because they know what you need to provide and can almost guarantee that you will pass first time (well certainly a good agent can anyway). So the fees you pay to an agent can ultimately save you time and money. If you do get an agent make sure they are registered ( www.themara.com.au )
