Two lists?
Hi all
I have a positive response from Vetasses on the occupation called 'economist (anzsco 224311). I was previously inaccurately advised by an agent hence am looking to seek advice here.
The new immigration rules seems to have consolidated the applicable occupation lists into one MLTSSL and a STSOL. I cant find my occupation in these two lists for a 189 PR visa. However the Employer Nominated Schemes seem to have its own MLTSSL and STSOL, wherein my occupation is listed.
What confuses me is that my understanding was that there was only one single list for medium/long term and one for short term. However it seems there is another set of these 2 lists in the employer nominate categories.
Please can someone help clarify the existence of these various lists?
Thanks
Meeta

Currently, nominating economist as your skilled occupation, you can apply for only subclasses 457, 186, 187.
