Default Just to Clarify!

I was wondering if anyone out there could clarify this for me, and hopefully put my worries to rest.

I applied for PR OCT 2001, still waiting.........

Applied for Working Holiday Visa FEB 2002,received MAR 2002

I travel to OZ on working holiday visa In Dec 2002.

Is this OK? The way i see it is that i can leave austarlia when my PR is granted and this will superceede my Working Holiday Visa.

My worry is that when i validate my working holiday visa in DEC i will void my PR visa application! I don't believe this is the case but could someone clarify this for me?

Regards,

Danny.

Yes.

Your PR visa can only be granted when you are outside Australia. What
happens is that your case officer tells you a decision is immiment and
you then travel to somewhere like Auckland or Singapore to be formally
granted your PR.

Correct.

It won't cause any problems for your PR application,. Make sure that
your case officer:

- has reliable contact details for you when you are in Australia;
- knows your date of proposed entry to Australia.

Thanks for the reply Jeremy.

Hi JSK,

You must be aged between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of application and be a citizen of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Norway, Malta, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Denmark or Finland.

If you are not a citizen of one of these countries you can not apply for a WHM maker visa.

Regards,

Danny.
