Default Just asking for a little advice.

I currently have my application in for a 186 Visa; I received an email from the DIBP last night asking for police checks and medical information for my wife and for her to be added to the Visa application.

The thing is, my wife is an Australian national and passport holder.

So, is this normal as it goes against all the advice I've previously been given, and if so could put us back 3-4 months.

If your wife is Australian she cannot hold a visa.
You need to go back to your Co and tell her/him that your wife is Australian, and you will probably need to submit proof like a passport or birth certificate.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I thought this was the case and emailed a copy of the wife's passport last night. Hopefully I'll get an update tonight.

Yep, sounds like a simple mistake.
