Room for another???????

After a very long 5 month wait for ACS results, we have just this minute submitted our visa application.

Hubby had to have a stiff drink to calm his trembling hands as he submitted the payment

We are 175, CSL and LR country.

Just thought i'd add to the thread.

We've just submitted our application today (18th)

Started on the whole process on the 1st Jan for the ACS assessment.

Had to do the IELTS for the extra points at end of May

Applying for a 175 from LR country.

Unfortunately no MODL or CSL or SS so I'm right at the back of the queue.

Hopefully i'll hear something positive within the next 2 years

Good luck to all

I have although most of the SS lists seem to require the MODL part of 2231-79.

I may be wrong though

You might be surprised - i though we wouldn't get SS as i am an Office Manager and not on CSL or MODL but i have been granted SS from the ACT.

Defo worth looking into - what's your occ?

Is this any help - it's from the ACT SS list:
Computing Professionals (nec) Specialisations NOT on the MODL must be assessed by the relevant ACT based body as having at least 1 year experience in one of the following specialisations before the sponsorship is lodged. 2231-79 Power Building; Java Script; Delphi; Lotus Notes; Progress; Powerhouse; COBOL; Networking/LAN/WAN; IPX; SNA; Advanced Web Design; ; CORBA; HP-UX; VMS; Systems analysis; PKI; E-Commerce security (non programming); GIS (eg: Mapinfo); DB2; Sybase SQL Server; DB2; Sybase SQL Server;
