I've read that applicants from High Risk Countries just take longer due to internal checks - it'll be all the more sweeeter when it does arrive. We'll all wait with you mate.
I have got 5 days left here in the UK - we fly out to Perthfect Perth on Tuesday morning - it's starting to get a little bit scarey now.

How many of us June 08 guys still waiting for the visa grant?
Especially those who are paper based as it seems that online lodgements are getting priority.
It's so frustrating to see applicants who applied 4-6 months down the line getting the visa
. I wish them vey best in Oz.

Who has still yet to start there new life in Australia after getting their visa?
We activated our visa in Feb 09, but we are still here
Just about to go on sale now, we have an advantage as properties are sought after in our location, so fingers crossed.
We plan to have Christmas on the Gold Coast.

Sorry guys that you are still waiting for your visas I really feel for you. We have had our visa a few months and still here cos we havent sold our house, we also would love to spend Christmas in oz, busy decluttering, boy do we have loads.

. I wish them vey best in Oz.I am May 2008 applicant, paperbased and just like you waiting for the visa grant letter. Feel like kicking my agent really hard for having submitted a paper based application and not online.

We are in the same situation. The initial dream of a different life in Oz is fading now. I am going through the stage of not caring anymore. The next stage is probably giving up. Even family and friends have stopped asking when we are going.
