Well we are doubly members of this thread now! As there is a question mark over the 175 we have also lodged a more secure but less desirable 475 application. In case OH just gets too panic'd at the test or they change policy and no longer accept late IELTS for extra points form UK passport holders.
Being 45yrs today means OH gets no more bites at the cherry if presently lodged visas fail. And I am -visawise- as much use as a chocolate teapot!

It might just be the way you phrased it, but you know you need to apply to Vetassess first before applying to DIAC for your visa?
Will you be 176 family or state sponsored? If state sponsored then you'll be priority 1. If family sponsored, not likely that they're even going to look at you application until after July this year.

Think it means they'll be no more visas left after they've done the priorities above family for them to even start family (in last group) until the next years allocation starts in July.
How far they get down the lists before they run out is anyones guess. Mine is that yes CSL (3rd of 5 groups) will get done and probably some MODL (4th)
Employer (1st) and State (2nd) projected to be finished by Feb 13th!!!

We are January RSMS applicants. Visa app lodged last Wednesday, VISA granted today!!
