It's Official, my Wife CAN speak English!!!
She just got her IELTS results this morning 7th March 2009.
Listening: 8.5 (never listens to me though
)
Reading: 9.0
Writing: 8.5
Speaking: 9.0 (most women do this well)
Overall Band Score: 9.0
Let's hope the ACS believes she can programme as well as she claims.

We have smart spouses! Mine got identical scores onthe same test!
Tell your wife very well done.
.... and my OH makes the kids speak english to him not aussie. Insists they say crisps not chips, yog-urt not yo-gurt, sweets not lollies etc. He tells them immigrant children need to be bilingual and speak their mother tongue at home and local language outside!!!
