hope some kind soul can help

1 - i have enough points (if all the paper work goes thru) to apply for
residency without a job offer, i read in the blurb on the residency
application that priority will be given to those that have a job offer
and that i and my family may need to attend an interview - has anyone
been in a similar situation?

2 - does anyone now how long you have to make landfall in new zealand
after you have successsfully applied for residency? - i believe that in
Oz it is a year
