Hi all.
I was informed by my ex-employer that someone from ozz called to verify my experience there (applied 7 months ago for PR).
1) Is it a good sign regarding my future timeline? Numbers will be highly appreciated.
2) Do they usually call the employer or is it that I'm rather special? :-)
Best regards,
Amirey

When DIMIA (or its overseas associates/agents) verify employment details, it means that someone is looking at authenticating your documents. It also means that your case is not sitting at the bottom of the pile.
Whether a request for medicals/police checks will come soon is anyone's guess, as a verification of employment details is by no means a guarantee that your case's processing is nearing its end.
Some people do get calls to their employers (past and present), so it's certainly not a unique case for you.
