Internal/External checks confusion solved.

This is a reply from my CO

External checks are done by external agencies, therefore we are unable to
provide a timeframe on the outcome.
Internal checks are checks done within our department and we are therefore
able to provide a estamated timeframe on outcomes.
All internal checks have been completed, we are now waiting on the external
checks.

Re: Internal/External checks confusion solved.

So I guess Job Verification is an internal check because these are done by AHC in Islamabad.

thanx a lot gr8leo87 for sharing this info with us!

CO told me in June that internal checks are underway and they will be finalized in 3-4 months and after 4 months upon enquiring of the status, he said that "checks are being done by an external agency and NO time frame can be given"

so i presume that internal checks are complete in my case as well and its "external checking" which is underway right now!!!

So this solves the what comes first dilemma.

Internal Checking is done before external checks.

Internal checking is done by DIAC and sister concerns

External Checking is done by agencies external to DIAC like ASIO and their partners in this field.

i would say every case is different. i dont know what is actuall patern. I put a query from my CO in June and he said Internal Checks are being completed and after 2 months they called medical. i mean 10 months in total to find medi call when i lodged application. so i assumed all the checks are completed then they called for medi and PCC. one more thing it may possible they start checks in parallel. Wot u say :fingerscrossed:

it is possible that they start off both the formalities at the same time...external checks are lengthy so they linger on till just before the final point :p

all in all, something is being done to our files...thats encouraging :fingerscrossed:

Dear , it look like your case is very advanced , as per my limited experience you are in the stage of discission maker , otherwise they will not asked you for PCC/MED in this time unless something positive in your ext. check (F80). I can assure your case is in the final stage .. good luck

Internal checking processes

It has been noted, that most of the applicants are getting the responses from their respective CO's " this application is subject to certain internal processes cecking".
What it means by internal processes checking? Any one please comment on this.

No, they are checks done externally to DIAC - by ASIO for instance. And Internal checks are checks done Internally, carried out within the Department.

Thanks, but I would like to know what sort of checks they conduct for an applicant as integrity checks
Does it include qualification integrity or job verifications or even resume/CV integrity ? I am keen to know how they usually conduct these sort of checks
Regards:)

Thread merged with another discussing internal and external checks. DIAC may carry out both types of checks to verofy your integrity or they may not. They might check details on your resume, employment details, address details, qualifications, anything they see fit. The only person who can tell you what they are going to check in your individual case is your case officer.

Integrity checks means to check the 'integrity' of you claims.

For example they might check the integrity of your documents by verifying them, analysing them etc.

Did you know DIAC has specialist analysts for documents who check for the integrity of the documents, if these are trustworthy, original, etc.

Integrity checks might also include scrutinizing your claims made on an application.

Where exactly did you come up with this term BTW?

Do you mean by for example calling employers to check the validity of reference letters ( physical checks) or analyzing the documents digitally to see weather they are defected or not ?

That I can't be really sure of. But I'm sure it includes what you mentioned above and many other things.

Documents can be analyzed digitally and through experience as well. I'm not well versed in the science of document analysis but I can say with great authority that they are expert at what they do.

Integrity checks has to mean the check to check the trusthfullness and honesty of your documents and your claims.

I was asked to submit form 80 and other requested docs and finally I have submitted all required docs. and form 80 correctly in 3-4 attempts:)..thanks to CO for great cooperation.
Now all docs showing as 'Met' except the medical and the following doc.

Evidence of Specific Work Experience>>> Received

i think they are doing external or internal check now or verifying the experience from the company??

How much time will it take for this and ask for medical and PCC?

regards
Fahad

You will be asked for police clearance and medicals in exactly 17 days. (Bear in mind that I have a 99.9% chance of being wrong since NOBODY on earth knows the answer to your question)

Are you 176 applicant?

Edit: Ok it's not shown at all. Just realised.

External character checking

Hi,

I have got following response after 7 working days of enquiry of my application status.

External character checking is being undertaken.

We are unable to influence the timing of these checks.

As soon as we have an outcome you will be contacted for further
information.

What is exactly this “External character checking” means. Is this include employer verification – certificate checking or only criminal record checking?

It is almost 10 month after submission of medical and form 80. There is only tow month when my PCC and medical will be expire. I have my spouse as secondary applicant (will not sit for IELTS – will pay for English course).

Can any one tell me where I am now (I am from HRC)?

REG
MILON
