Hi all!
I'd like to sponsor my brother for permanent residence. He graduated as a lawyer in Argentina, where the common law is obviously not used. As far as I know, it would be almost impossible for him to apply as a lawyer.
He also sat for the examination required there to become an Insurance Broker. In Argentina, the only requirement to be an Insurance Broker is to pass that exam.
1 - I wonder if he could apply to Vetassess as an Insurance Broker and use his Lawyer diploma as a way of showing tertiary qualifications.
2 - As for work experience, he has been working as a lawyer for some years, and has just started to work as a broker. Can he ask for the 5 point of work experience as a lawyer if he's applying as an insurance broker?
I would appreciate your comments. Thanks
Marcelo

Yes, you are right. To be honest, I thought I could get some advice here from these nice guys such as Jeremy or George Lombard, but have had no luck yet.
Cheers,
Marcelo
It may be worth him giving an agent a call for some specialist advice with this one. His vetassess needs to reflect what he is applying with though so it may be difficult for him follow that path.[/QUOTE]
