Hi,
a friend of mine has got the Iraki (home country) and New Zealand citizenship. He has got a wife that has only got the Iraki citizenship. Both of them live in New Zealand. Now he is thinking about moving to another place, namely to immigrate to another country. He is thinking of Australia or another english speaking country where he has got a permanent residency permission because he is also a Kiwi. The question is in which country his wife will also have a permanent residency permission. As I mentioned before, she is Iraki, but his wife!
I appreciate any comments to this issue.
Regards.

He can live in Australia but not with PR rights - http://www.nz-oz.gov.au
He can't sponsor his wife for PR - only for a limited temporary visa that leaves her in a difficult position if he dies or they separate.
Why he thinks a NZ passport will let him live anywhere else is a mystery - it won't.
It would probably make more sense to stay in NZ until his wife gets NZ citizenship before contemplating other options.
