Default im a higher level teaching assistant but ......

Hello,
Im exploring every avenue at present, I am a trained Hairdresser but do not wish to go back into a salon as i really did not enjoy the job.I am now a HLTA (which i know is not on the SOL ) but i do have a certicification in counselling skills which i do need for my job for working with disaffected young teenage boys. Would this meet any criteria? God i hope so im desperate to go and live near my sister

Thanks for any response
Michelle

It will depend which level this certificate is, but its unlikely to help.

As mentioned in your last post, you will need to contact a good migration agent to discuss your options as this is unlikely to be a straightforward application.

When did you last work as a hairdresser if you go on a skilled visa I think its the 175 now..... was the old 136 you get assessed as hairdresser but you dont have to do that when you get there. Its just a way of getting in no more.

You have to have had worked something like the last 12 months out of 18 or some such requirement someone will probably tell you better or ring an agent most offer a free initial assessment.

Good luck

we used overseas emigration they have been great but if you do a search lots of people will reccommend different agents. They were the ones we felt most comfortable with. Speak to a few it may help you decide.

our agents website is

http://www.overseas-emigration.co.uk/

Just of the info I know of myself the timeframe appears to be to long ago to qualify you as hairdresser without recent work experience, but dont quote me speak to an agent and get your free consultation.
