Hi All!

I friend of mine took the Academic module of IELTS by mistake (Test Centre screwed-up).

Although she scored either Band 7 or above for each component, she's concerned that DIMA will not accept the Academic Module but will require the General Training Module.

I tried to allay her fears but can't find any evidence anywhere to prove otherwise.

Anyone can help comfirm whether DIMA accepts the Academic Module results for Skilled 136 MODL?

Yes they definitely do without any problem at all.

I will second this.

Both general and academic modules are accepted as far as immigration is concerned.
You need the academic module if you want to go to school there.

Yeah they accept the Academic Module result.
One of my fr8 submitted Academic IELTS relsult...n it was okey.

Yes they should accept it. Ligically speaking because Academic is tough
as comprae to General training. So dont worry and go ahead.
