Default ielts

Hi there,

Should applicant have IELTS result sent to DIMIA through
the test center or attach an orignal copy of the result
in the application package sent to DIMIA?

Thanks!

You must request the test center to send an original copy of the result directly to DIMIA.

Hi ben,

Are you sure about that?

It is because Booklet6, page 35 states:
"3 - You shoud include evidence of your ability in the English language WITH YOUR APPLICATION"
It doesn't mention that test centers should send it...

In the other hand, IEAust states that IELTS must be sent by test centers...

regards

Hi

Well, it doesn't matter as long as it's the original copy. But my advice is, it's better for the test center to send it on your behalf. FYI, the test center will provide this service without any charge.

Thank you for the helpful answers!
Another question I have is, my last ielts was taken more
than 12 months ago, can I submit this result for application
or I have to take a new test? I remember in the documentation
ielts result must be less than 12 month old.

Thanks.

Timmy

If i'm not mistaken. The application to DIMIA together with the IELTS result must be within 1 year from the test result released.

The validity of the result is 2 years.

I'm not really sure about this but I think you can try asking DIMIA. Sorry.
