ICT Fast Track??????

Hi All,

Received my acknowledgement letter today, please read below:

"Note that the processing of your application is expected to take approximately 50 weeks unless your occupation is one of the ICT occupations covered by te Minister's priority processing direction."

Is it just the wording or is the fast track program only available to specific ICT occupations, if so does anybody know what these specific occupations are?

Thanks for you help and good luck everyone!

Cheers

My acknowledgement carries the same phrase. Does anybody know what these specific occupations are?

Re: ICT Fast Track??????

As far as I know it applies to all those who have an nominated occupation in IT and a
skill assessment from the ACS. How long it will last for is anyone's guess - the IT
job market in Australia no longer comes even close to justifying it.

Nurses also qualify now for faster processing. Leaving aside the ethics of this whole
fast-track policy, it has at least got some justification in the case of nurses.
