Default how to pay for SIR (pooled applicant)

Hi everyone,

I have got sponsorship from SA and faced to next hurdle "payment".

I have been in pool and invited to apply for SIR visa,
on the invitation letter from DIMIA, they say "you will need to complete the
attached acceptance advice and send it together with the
relevant visa application charge of $170 and evidence that ........."
and that's it about charge they mentions.

As I'm offshore, I think I have to pay by credit card or international
bank cheque. I want to pay by credit card but "the attached
acceptance advice" or form 1244 doesnt have any fields for credit card details.

I could not find any forms or information in such a case in their website.
I am thinking to use payment detail page of 47SK to give them
my credit card details, but worring if they accept it.

So if there is anyone has idea or advise, please help me.

Thank you!

Noriko

Slightly unsure about this (it happened a while ago) but I don't think DIMIA has credit card facilities. We had to get a special bank cheque and mail it.

I think they do now accept credit cards. Plenty of people are posting here when their cards have been charged.

thank you for reply G'Day,

I thought/wished normaly payment for skilled independet visa can be made
by credit card filling some section on 47SK, so I was going to pay
using that page.
I want to pay by credit card as it seems not that easy to make
international bank cheque in Japan in Australian dollars and
I'm not in Tokyo where one ANZ bank is located.

I dont know to whom to ask.........

but thanks anyway...

No Probs Noriko,

I knew they were getting something going to pay direct, but didn't know it was all sorted out already. I've been here for a year and a half and things change real fast ;-)

Hope you get sorted out.
