Dear friends,

As I did my studies in India, DIMIA is asking for police reports from
India. However now i am in Sri Lanka and i have requested the Indian
Authorities to send the police reports. Its been 2 months still they
have not sent them. Pl. let me know how i should go about this cause my
migration is getting delayed day by day.

Lets not say such negative things about India...

Did you contact the Indian Embassy in SriLanka? They can get the PCC for you in few days.

If you happen to Visit India then U can get PCC from Regional Passport Office. It takes only 10-20 min. I got mine in 15 min.. Talk of Efficiency!!! I was happily amazed with the service I received.

Yes, You can get it from the Indian Embassy in your country and it will take less than one month only. We got it from the Indian embassy, Malyasia. I think, they all operate in the similar way.
