Hi,

I'm going to withdraw my RRV visa application which was lodged on 16 May this year.

Initially I though a button click on immiAccount should do that, but the Remove button says,


Important: If you select Confirm, this application will be removed from this ImmiAccount. This will not withdraw the application.

And to withdraw it says:

To withdraw an application, the relevant processing office must be notified in writing. This can be done by letter, email or completing and uploading Form 1446 - Withdrawal of a visa application.

Since I'm running short of time, therefore, I want to use a withdraw method which would work quickly and withdraw my application so I can lodge another RRV visa (as I meet 2 year requirement now). There are 3 ways to withdraw: By a) Letter b) Email c) Upload Form 1446 online

I want to know which one is faster? Of course sending Letter will be longer. I think best is Email but I don't know the email address. If anyone know then please share here. Also, I think uploading Form 1446 would take time as it will take time for CO to check documents and then process withdraw (my assumption).

Please advise.

Hi,

There is a little progress.

I've uploaded Form 1446 on immiAccount.

And also email the same form at "[email protected]". I got this email by calling call center.

Hi all,
I've got RRV visa for 5 years. Thanks to Paul and other members who replied to my questions.

Here is what happened.

After suggestion from members, I decided to withdraw my RRV application which I submitted via immiAccount on 16/05/18. So i uploaded withdraw form 1446 to immiAccount on 13/06/18. Also I sent email to [email protected] and explained them that I've to withdraw and re-apply RRV. I got withdraw application confirm email from [email protected] on 20/06/18. Right after email, I re-applied RRV via immiAccount and the system issued RRV visa same time for 5 years. It looks like it was auto issued. During all this time, i.e. before uploading withdraw 1446 Form until 19/05/18, I called immigration multiple times to follow-up on my case. Some time I've to wait above 1 hrs to get my turn to speak call center staff and sometimes I got answered in 10 minutes. Depends upon queue length of callers. Every time, the staff was very humble and give me complete room to speak and share my questions and worries. They're really good and trained.

I'm relaxed and happy. Stress free traveling
