How long does a NZ PR visa last?

I heard about NZ PR lasts forever, compared with 5 years long of OZ, is
that true? Where can I find this description on govt website?

Go to http://www.immigration.govt.nz and see if the indefinite returning resident visa still exists.

Citizenship is still the safest option in terms of preserving your right to return.
