Hi, I'm from Holland, my boyfriend of two years is Kiwi and we have wedding plans. We have not lived together up until now. We both want to live in Oz. I would apply for NZ Citizen Fam Relationship visa as his wife. However, I cannot seem to find any specific requirements as to how long we need to have been married for. Any links/experiences are most welcome.

I believe you need to be able to prove your relationship for at least a year. I think in your situation this may be very difficult as you haven't lived together. What will you be able to do to demonstrate that your relationship is committed and ongoing?

One of the migration agents may be able to offer more reliable advice.

Just have to be married - with recent marriage also give a statement of your relationship - when where you met, joint undertakings, proof of angagement (if any) - so silmilar to the de-facto evidence except you were not living together.
