Med requests used to take around 12 to 14 weeks from acknowledgement, that was around January to early April this year. Lately, it seems to take around 18 to 19 weeks.

Mine came in after 19 weeks, my application was lodged April 18.

Hi,

We have been told by our agent that the medical requests are taking approx 12 weeks from sending application.

We sent ours mid August so are expecting request mid November.

We have just put our house up for sale, so depending on if there is any interest, we may not book the medicals until December or January as the 12 months validation goes from the date of medicals, not from the date that the visa is issued.

We are already past 20+ weeks, and hoping to get med request within few weeks.. but let's see..
