How long for citizenship?
 
I was talking to my frien in oz the other days and she said you now have to live in oz for 4 years to get citizenship. I thought it was 2. How long do you have to be there to qualify for cizizenship?

http://www.citizenship.gov.au has all the information you need.

It's 4 years, except for some persons who became PR before 1 July 2007.

Definitely 4 years but 3 of them can be as TR ie.457 and 12 months must be as Permanent Res.with no more than a one year absence from OZ.This changed as of 1st July 2007.

They changed it to 4 years :(
