Sold my house and will be moving to Sydney in about 3 months time. I have seen a few
2 bedroom apartments in Meadowbank/West Ryde/East Ryde/Eastwood area. It has all these things 1) Built-in kitchen cabinets and counter top 2) Stove/grill 3) Built-in wardrobe in each room 4) Internal/shared laundry 5) Air conditioning/heater 6) Lock up garages/covered carpark I wonder whether all the above are standard things that comes along with rented apartments ? Would appreciate any help. Thanks |

Nothing comes with an apartment that isn't mentioned except carpet and window curtains. So if it's not in the ad, it won't have it. IN Sydney, expect to add $20-$30 for a garage. Zebee |
As Zebee mentioned, most things will be mentioned in ads - but just to avoid wasting your
time, check *specifically* for refrig, laundry facilities, aircon/heating and built-ins if these items are important to you. Older units will often NOT have built-ins and it can be difficult/expensive to find wardrobes that you would actually put your clothes in :). As for the garage/carport issue - check!! I've seen some "carports" that were basically a big eave/overhang coming off the roof. BTW, I'm in Brisbane. Good luck in your apartment hunting!
