HELP Trade qualifications/advice, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
2 years ago we applied under a professional assessment (HR Manager/Health & Safety Trainer, (petty AUS politics)) and were rejected and we thought our dream was over.
Shortly after I was taken very ill and I am now may be unable to return to my previous profession so it was just as well we got rejected (everything happens for a reason). However every cloud has a silver lining. I now have a golden opportunity to get myself retrained with a trade qualification. I have always been very good with my hands and in my spare time have always undertaken general DIY work, house refurbishments. I also make furniture and therefore have I a good basic understanding of electrics, carpentry and plumbing. If were to get retrained which profession would be best and what qualifications would I need to get for each. I having done some basic research I am finding a little confusing about what vetassess would need to see. Also what is the minimum work based experience I would need to be able to demonstrate probably as self employed during/following qualification. • General Electrician • General plumber • Carpenter Any help or advice would be gratefully received Jon |

Have moved this to Immigration - you'll hopefully get more detailed responses.
Glad you're fit and well again. Good luck with it all. |
