Hi,
I require some information. I emigrated here 2 years ago but 3 of my elder children (24,24 +23) stayed in the Uk, My 23 year old Daughter wants to be a nurse and isn't sure whether to train in the uk or train Here in oz, she is missing us so much that we feel that it's in her best interest to join us in oz. We need information, on student visa, types etc and any info on nursing training in oz, gold coast , Brisbane . What the costs inolved are, whether she would be able to get Student loan . Please any info that can be provided would be geat as w aren't sure where to start

I would presume if she doesn't hold a PR/citizenship she would receive zero financial assistance or qualify HECS loan in Oz and would also be liable for International Student Fees.
The University of Queensland does a 3 year Bachelor of Nursing course [or a 2 years Master if she already has a degree]. The 3 year course costs $5k a year for a Commonwealth Student [which I assume includes PR] or an eye-popping $22k per year for an international student - with no loan possible.

Looking at that I think she would be better off training in the UK if she doesn't have a PR visa as it's a massive amount of money to pay out with the possibility of failing.

For international candidates there are TAFE Certificate IV Nursing pathways to university, works out much more economic, plus, qualifies students I know while studying nursing to work in Aged care, very good income
