How can you know your medical results arrived on 9-th May.
I have done my medical on 13th May but i do not know it is in AUS or My country.

My CO replied to my email that "... DIAC has received your medical results, once they have been cleared I will contact you".

I know that every case is different but from your experience, approximately how long will take?

Thank you.

Default Medical advice urgent

I am visa 176 applicant and applied online. I have undergone through medical assessment few days ago and now in my online link page the following message have been displayed for me and all my family members.
"Further medicals have been referred to Australia for further processing".

What it means, kindly discuss. Is there any problem in my medical ? or what will be next step.

That is a standard message. No need to worry. It just means that the doctor has forwarded the results to DAIC, who need to process it further.

There's nothing urgent about it at all. You don't have to do anything, just means the medicals are being looked at.

Default Medical Timeframe response from CO

Just like to share response from GHO

Dear Mr XXX
Thank you for your e-mail. Global Health is currently processing medical assessments received on 30th March 2011.

The medical results you are enquiring about were received after the above dates and will be processed in due course. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a large backlog of processing work so this process may take some time. Please be assured we are endeavouring to finalise these cases as soon as possible.

It means security clearance is not the only time-eater and others are also coming into picture...I don't know how many dimensions of the whole visa life cycle will be messed due to this backlog...

What backlog? Three months is not unreasonable and it's not significantly changed from 5 years ago when we applied for our visas. Medicals done in March, visa granted in July.

You better need to read imblogger's mail again. Especially the sentence "Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a large backlog of processing work so this process may take some time" is very clear and needs no more explanation to tell which backlog do I refer.
I totally disagree that things have not been significantly changed for the last few years and my observation is that they certainly are. I can provide a hundreds of evidences in favor yet avoiding it considering it no useful discussions for many.

I can provide hundreds of instances where people have waited more than 3 months. What does that prove?

The email is standard, it covers them hopefully from people constantly asking how long something is going to take. Things are most definitely much the same as they have been for the last 5-6 years in this particular respect. Certain aspects of certain visa classes have changed, medical timeframes haven't I'm at a loss as to how you can provide 'hundreds of evidences'. Are you an agent?
