We went to the emigration show at Sandown earlier in the year which was brilliant. If you didn't get to it, I'd recommend it for next year, as it seems we may have time!

Regarding the police checks, if the agents have the tracking number and can prove delivery, I'm sure it will be fine. They can't turn around and say that you missed the deadline. I know some documents that I sent have taken up to 2 weeks to be processed and appear on their systems.
