Got the visa stamp back

Just thought that i would let you all know that we sent our passports to AHC on Tuesday morning, 4 hours after receiving the visa grant letter via e-mail, and they are now back in our possession, three days later.

What a turn around and in under 3 days:)

All that stress for a little bit of paper:)

Cool, we sent ours off yesterday to our agent, good job it's a quick turn around 'cos were off in less than 3 weeks :D
As they say the best things come in small packages, and I doubt there's much smaller or greater than that bit of paper !!

I sent ours off Tuesday before last and heard nothing! I suppose our sticking it in the passport officer has gone on leave until October!! (Or Royal Mail have managed to make it a full house and have lost it!! - Surely they wouldnt loose Special Delivery would they?)

He He, You can't ring the AHC either. Does seem to be me doesnt it!

I cant remember actually putting an envolope in with the letter, Special Delivery slip and postage so I sent them one with a covering letter today. (might have done, might not)

I can't even think about the prospect of the loss of our passports!

Good ta. Picked up the "Your keys to driving in Queensland" book today so I can take my test next week. I'm also gonna start making an effort to find a job next week too, though I do have one interview already despite not doing much :) I need to speak to the nice lady on Tuesday to arrange the date / time.

Cheers. There's plenty still to do here. I go through spells of "I'm not gonna get a job and am gonna run out of money " and "I'll get the first job I apply for, no worries :)" The reality is probably somewhere in between :)

How's your TRA coming along?

owww....very close to completion mate, I have written a mere 100 odd pages now, I still have another 20 or so to write but have promised that I WILL SEND IT OFF NEXT WEEK... i shouted that just to remind myself the deadline I have set and to not let it slip.

I feeling quite good that it is nearly done , but now getting worried about the feedback I will get from my agent...

Hi wmoore do you have to do a practical driving test where you are??

I keep pulling myself up whilst driving, trying to revert back to how I was taught. Both hands on the wheel etc its hard!!!! Dreading taking a test again :scared:

If you've got the receipt with the reference number on, you should be able to track it via their website.

Blimey, now where would I be if I didn't have a crisis going on!

Sent AHC an envolope in case I forgot one this morning. Meanwhile posty was at the Rab residence trying to delivery our passports :D

On to the next crisis .......he he

Lesson learned from this episode = make a note of the Special Delivery number on the return slip you send. That way you know when it's coming back? Easy eh? - not if you are me ;)
