first of all, thank GOD that i got my visa two days back now i have a query. in my grant letter its written that i cant marry before entering australia. im single at the moment.

i want to know that do i have to show any document at port of entry to proof that im single?/

please advice

hnmm quite interesting.....They haven't mention any such condition on my grant letter(i also applied as single). So it means i can get marry b4 validation without violating any visa condition?

i am also a 175 visa holder, and am single...though, there is no such clause in my grant letter.

This is why I asked for the visa type. I also got 175 and have no condition on my visa.

So, people get different conditions placed on their visas. It's not new or anything. It's DIAC making decisions based on their information. Some people have the condition that the Primary Applicant MUST go through passport control first. Others don't. Matters not a jot.

yes the clause type is 8515, not marry before first entry.

why its written on my visa only

As I've already stated some people have conditions some don't. Just because the 2 or 3 who've replied to this thread don't have this condition doesn't mean that you are the only one. I can guarantee there will be thousands of people with the same condition.

plesae answer one more query of mine. i did my case thorugh a consultant, now when i have got visa in my hand, how can i check its authenticity? i mean is there any way to verify this visa except for calling to local embassy?

Now that's a first Never heard of someone thinking they might have a dodgy visa. Do you have the grant letter from DIAC?
