The long wait is finally gone.The day of reckoning has arrived.Here is the good news to share.
I have received an email from my CO as a pre-Grant.
Thanks to all the members and moderators for this wonderful forum.It's such an informative site that it's link must be put up on DIAC's official website
Your valuable suggestions/Comments are strongly needed.What should be my options regarding the email below?
Here is the exact email
""Dear Mr Gillgee,
I refer to your application for visa subclass 175, and advise that the
internal processing is now complete.
I have been able to apply a short extension to your medicals and police
clearance certificate, however please note that if I proceed to grant your
application, the date by which you would need to make an initial entry into
Australia would be 10 January 2011. Please note that there is no minimum
time that you must remain in Australia after you enter, you only need to
arrive on or before that date to activate your visa.
Could you please advise if you would be able to meet this timeframe. If
you cannot, you will need to obtain and provide a new police clearance
certificate. If that is done, the initial entry date would be 8 June 2011.
Please advise what you would like to do. Your response within 7 days from
the date of this email would be appreciated.

One question gillgee. Your sll document including Form 80 , meds and PCC were MET three months ago and you got grant today. What could be possible reason for CO to wait for.. .

Congratulations.
IMHO do not make hasty move it may waste your money and time and will strain you more.
I would suggest to get PCC (urgent) and just submit it to DIAC and relax and plan your smooth move.

I think Form 80 status was ACTUALLY RECEIVED,but CO dont bother about these online statuses.It's my personal opinion.I don't know the exact reasons.
But in a nutshell,Form 80 is taking almost a year time to finalize after its final submission.

Now,finally I have received my grant letter today on 06 Dec as I decided to go for straight visa grant instead of getting a new PCC.So IED is 10 Jan 2011.
Again many thanks to all members and moderators of this singular forum.
Now,next is How to send my passport to Islamabad Embassy.
Few queries,
I need to send passport only or anything else with passport?
Which Airline is best to travel to Sydney.i wana fly preferably from Lahore.Cheapest fare is on higher priority.
And on which date I can get lowest fares,on Christmas day?or after New year night?
Please advise and share ur findings.
