Just to let you all know that we recieved a 3 year work visas and our childrens student visas and it only took just over 1 WEEK after sending the application! Its all happened so quickly and my heads everywhere. Haven't found anywhere to live yet or schools and hoping to apply for PR as soon as we're settled. If anyones got any useful info on what to do next, please let me know, it's all happened so quickly!

Hi I wondered what visa you applied for and if you had arranged work, as my hubby wants to move to Oz as thats where my family is but we'd said that NZ was an option as visa's etc seem to be a heck of a lot faster in NZ

We applied for 2 general work visas, 2 student visas for our children and 1 visitors visa for our 2 year old. My hubby had a job offer from a plastics company as a die tool setter and he got that simply by emailing nearly every single plastics manufacturing plant in NZ. He recieved a few good responses but alot of companies prefer you to be in NZ before offering employment. I was so suprised at how quick it all happened.
