Hi,

So I've finally got my ACS letter back after 9 weeks :( Being a clever chap, I did
every thing ask - copy of my degree, transcript of each years units and grades,
letters from each of my employers for the last 5 years, and I even wrote a nice CV
from them. I have 4 years Java programming, I'm a Sun certified Java programmer, I
sent a bunch of Java related training certs and guess what? The ACS say I have 12
months skill in "Unix"....Not that I'm complaining 'cos that's on the MODL as well :)

Just thought you guys would appreciate that bit of background....

Anyway, I have a couple of last min questions.

1) Should I get the medical and police checks done now or wait for Adelaide to
ask for them?
2) Should I send a cert copy of the ACS letter or the original?
3) Also, anyone know of any rumours to end the IT fasttrack and any idea of current
IT processing times?

Let's hope the visa application doesn't go as PeteTong as the ACS stuff...
