Got it !!
Finally the good news friends !!!!!!!
Received my grant letter yesterday and now need to send our passports for the little sticker. This forum has been so helpful that I can't imagine how would have I got through the visa application without this forum. So a BIG thank you to all of you.
George/Alan/Peter/Jeremy/Stevens, you guys are doing such a great job. Would not hesitate to help you guys if there was ever a reverse case where you needed my help ! Thank you guys.
Here is my timeline:
Aug 18, 2003 Skilled Ind 136 Application Received by ASPC
Aug 26, 2003 Credit card charged $ 1795.00
Sep 5, 2003 IELTS scores sent By BC
Feb 27, 2004 Current Employer received Inquiry from local consulate
Apr 12, 2004 Police and Medicals Requested
May 10, 2004 Medicals for spouse delivered in Adelaide
Jun 11, 2004 Medicals and PCC for myself delivered..finally !
Jul 19, 2004 Received letter from case officer- Visa Granted !!!
Mine was a very smooth ride with no complications and I was prepared to wait longer.
Now that the whole thing is sinking in, I am scared - leaving everything and everyone behind and going to a place where I know noone. Well well, thats how it was supposed to be from the beginning I guess :-)

Congratulations - it's a good feeling isn't it? Your timeline was pretty similar to our own - we applied early August 2003 and had our letter last week.

I have one query, you have mentioned inquiry to current employer, how was the enquiry made by phone or by mail..
I am asking this because, my Boss keeps travelling most of the days, so a phone enquiry may miss out... lets see.
