hi all

we've just received a letter this morning from the agency we are dealing with it say
that Australia house are on longer accepting photo copies of the T R A and to send the
original .

BUT in the bottom of the letter she has put a update from Australia house
and they are currently dealing with applications lodged week commencing 17th
JULY 2000 and are giving priority to computing professionals

we lodged are application at the beginning of November and were hoping to
here around march but it looks like we still have a long way to go.

If anyone as any info on this please let me no

It has generally been standard practice to require the original TRA letter - it has some
security devices to protect against fraud that are reduced by showing a photocopy. But
you should make sure you get the original back because it can have some benefit after
you arrive.
