Getting a migration visa without qualifications

Hello 👋

My partner and I would like to immigrate to Australia. He is on the skills list as a furniture finisher, but has no level 3 qualification, just 6 years of hands on experience.

I am trying to see if this is enough for us to submit an EOI and get a positive skill assessment with TRA but I can't find much information on that, and really don't want to pay for the assessment if it's automatically rejected 😩

Has anyone else been through similar?

Thank you!

It is possible, but more complex and I recommend you speak to a registered migration agent to see if you can qualify

The first place to start is usually the skilled occupation lists. Qualifications in themselves do not mean you can get a visa, but are usually needed for skills assessment alongside work experience.
