Really need to verify my past employment history from early to late nineties. Company I worked for has long since gone.
Thought the tax/NI office could confirm things. Can't find anything on the web, tried calling the NI helpline, but after listening to hold music for 25mins, gave up.
Any one know if it's possible, have any links / contacts for correct office.

Not sure if you are just asking here because it seemed like a good place. But if you are asking with respect to Australian immigration, I cannot see how work experience in the early 90's could be relevant to any visa application.

I think it can help as evidence for Trades recognition if you`re after statements from employees. If not I would not worry about, If you have such from more recent years.

Well yes as part of Vic s/s and trades recog. It clearly states I must present a complete CV showing all employment by month and year and explain any gaps.
Just want to get it spot on. Really can remember some of it and company I worked for went 10 years ago. Since then I have mainly been a MD of limited companies, hence very little to reference from third parties.
