Getting 457 in Oz
I am a computer professional(Analyst Programmer) with 2 years post qualification(4 years overall) experience and am thinking about going to Oz and trying to find a job and apply for the 457 while staying out there, anyone had similar experience? especially IT bods.

You need to ask yourself a question - why would an Australian employer hire you (and have to go through all the sponsorship/visa hassle) as opposed to the Australian next in line?
It's not all that easy to find sponsorship unless you have some special skills that can't be supplied locally. There are some companies like Freespirit who sponsor IT people, maybe get in touch with one of them.
On top of that, your rights in Australia as a 457 visa holder are very limited, you need to be aware of all the issues before starting out.
