Re: Current processing times
You probably had a CO before then, just didn't know? And acknowledgement is just admin. I don't think a week here and there necessarily indicates random date order processing

Re: Current processing times
Many congratulation to you, it gives me hope when I hear about others. When did you get your case officer. We applied for 175 (paper base) 26/03/08, meds and police checks 11/07/08 and we haven't heard a bloody thing. NO case officer - nothing. I can't believe it's taking soooo long. we'r really losing heart now. We expected to be in Perth this month.

I saw a few grants/CO allocations on the nov/dec/jan still waiting thread which made a nice change that was all

Re: Current processing times
There's really no need for you to feel so down Kathy - 12 months is the average quoted processing time for an offshore 175 (although of course plenty get their visas sooner. Remember every case is different.) so you are still in perfectly normal timeframes
If you set your expectations against that timeframe, you will be pleasantly surprised - as opposed to how you feel now
Spare a thought for 175 applicants still waiting from October 2007...

I hear what your saying and I know your right. We are just going off some friends of ours who applied march 07 and got visa sept 07. Because of that we gave all our xmas stuff away last year HA HA (not a wise move) so this xmas will be a very bare one, there's no way i'm buying new just for one year. Hopefully the 3 kids won't mind too much.

Awesome! $5 says Pollyanna slaps my wrist for talking about tatoos instead of current processing times but there some amazing aboriginal 'dot' art designs you can get too! You also see alot of poms with the southern cross

Re: Current Processing Times (continued)
It would be good if the weekly update posted on here was also for the Brisbane skilled centre, as their are a few of us on here too. Seems as though recently only the ASPC are being copied onto this thread, thanks. Katie.
