Mind you I agree that there has been a sudden rush of approvals- did someone go and sort them out????
I saw a few grants/CO allocations on the nov/dec/jan still waiting thread which made a nice change that was all

You probably had a CO before then, just didn't know? And acknowledgement is just admin. I don't think a week here and there necessarily indicates random date order processing

I got my visa yesterday but my agent telephoned DIAC which got them to pull out my file hence my visa.

I'm planning to scan mine, blow it up and frame it. I might also have the grant number tattooed on the back of my neck Angelina Jolie styles

I can't believe it's taking soooo long. we'r really losing heart now. We expected to be in Perth this month.
If you have already front loaded your police checks and meds then you may have a case officer and not know it - they will only contact you if they need more info.

No we were given a co on 7th Oct- didn't know until the 9th. If they are granting November and April applicants visas it still seems random to me!

If you set your expectations against that timeframe, you will be pleasantly surprised - as opposed to how you feel now

Spare a thought for 175 applicants still waiting from October 2007...
hello maroonedNZ,

I hear what your saying and I know your right. We are just going off some friends of ours who applied march 07 and got visa sept 07. Because of that we gave all our xmas stuff away last year HA HA (not a wise move) so this xmas will be a very bare one, there's no way i'm buying new just for one year. Hopefully the 3 kids won't mind too much.

It would be good if the weekly update posted on here was also for the Brisbane skilled centre, as their are a few of us on here too. Seems as though recently only the ASPC are being copied onto this thread, thanks. Katie.

Dont be defensive just stating a fact thats all
