Hello there! Hope someone out there can help....

We are putting together the final bits and pieces required for my husband's Spouse Visa (subclass 309 and 100) and I'm wondering whether we need to provide the two statutory declarations from supporting witnesses (Form 888) as it is not mentioned on the website as necessary or compulsory, but it is present on the checklist. We have been married five years, together almost 7 and have two children, 4 and a half and 8 months old.

We have written our individual stat decs on how we met, married etc...with our marriage certificate, shared finances and the evidence of children as supporting evidence, would we still have to provide these 2 other stat decs using form 888 as well? Or can we assume these would only be needed if further proof was required???

I would advise you to do so. Best tick all the boxes, make the CO's job easier.
