Default Finding work - how easy is it?

Hi,

Can anyone share their thoughts/experience on how easy it is for a British foreigner to find work in Australia?

Can you recommend where's best to search for employment opportunities, i.e. job sites, employment agencies, etc.?

What is the employment culture like and how does that differ to the UK?

Thanks in advance!

Spamming the entire forum with the same question won’t endear you to anyone. Which country do you actually wish to move to?

Apologies, I thought the different country forums were separate. I’m new to forum posting, but really hoped for some advice.

My husband and I are considering a number of different countries as options - Australia, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Taiwan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, China, Vietnam. I realise these are quite diverse however each one offers something we would want.

At this stage I’m trying to understand what options are realistic so we can reduce the list!

Thanks!

You really need to narrow it down first to see which countries would actually grant you a visa allowig you to work. For Australia this largely comes down to what skills you can offer.
