fiancee visa: some questions...
G'day all,
I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me, or point me
to a URL about the following:
What proof do I need to submit about our engagement?
Receipt for ring enough?
How do they assess her level of English, and how does
it effect her chances of acceptance?
[I'm assuming I will be the "sponsor"]
What/where is the list of requirements for a sponsor,
how do they go about assessing me?

Best place to check this is at: http://www.immi.gov.au -- look for the
fiancee/prospective Spouse Visa, there'll be forms and lists of requirements
etc there.
I came out here on a Prospective Spouse Visa from the USA. Whereabouts is
your fiancee from?
