Dear Friends,

I got a reply from my Case Officer yesterday that my application may be decided "within another few weeks". I have applied for STNI-137 and its more than 6 weeks since i sent Medicals/Pcc to Adelaide.
With so many people getting their Visas yesterday, i am quite optimistic that my case would have been finished tooooo!!
Please let me know your thoughts on this.

I would think that a "few weeks" means about 3 weeks, however it is not precise, so you should be prepared to wait another month. With some luck, you should hear the result before then. Good luck!

I was taught when I was younger that "a few" means between four and six. Plus time for postage and Xmas/New Year => allow a couple of months.

Hello Mohan,

As I was also recieved an email reply from my case officer on 15th November saying (You will be contacted when a decision is made on your application Hopefully within next couple of weeks.)
And right on 30th November they granted me visa,which arrived at my place on 7th December.

In your case word FEW is used it should be whithin 1-2 months.

Hi, we contacted our case officer last week as our medicals were done in on september 8th (although we did have to submit photos at a later date, mix up their end) and we got an email back saying the application would be finalised in a month........or two! how long is a piece of string me thinks............good luck all
