Received email acknowledgement this morning. So relieved! Quoted 4-5 month processing time, which actually suits us as I am pregnant and cant have xray until baby arrives.

Im going with Howarth for meds and Drs Hide Coulthard etc.. for Xrays.
You have to book your Xrays at least a week before the meds - they are then transferred to Howarth so he can look at them before the Meds.
In Newcastle the only options are for Medicals
Dr Howarth , Denton Turret

Good luck with that PP ,our STNI for Vic ,both times only took two weeks ,so hopefully your wait wont be that much longer.

Got my acknowledgement yesterday and credit card charged also, after application going in on the 17th Feb. Pretty quick me thinks, got meds booked already for the end of March, am I being to optimistic?

Must be coming soon mate, they dont seem to follow any rhyme or reason, wait until 5 months time when (hopefully) the visas start to come then we`ll start to get paranoid.

agent received ack date 13/2/06, instructed to do meds in April
and so now the wait begins,
Kate let me know what the meds are like down in Dover please! as it looks like we'll be heading that way too. (cheaper)

Well our visa application has been delivered today. Late I must say as it had a detour to Germany. Anyway at least I know its there. Somebody called Mandy has it. (She had better look after it!!!!) Good luck to everyone.
