evisitor with unspent convictions - others experiences
Merry Xmas all.
Just looking for other readers experiences.
Pending application has been referred - I have a non custodial sentence and 1 caution both of which are within the last 10 years.
I also declared the above with background upon receiving the request for further detailed information.
It has been a couple of weeks since the ACRO Police Cert was submitted and I understand that my case has been referred. Getting confirmation from the Probation Office shouldn't be an issue either if DIBP require this.
Does anyone have any such experiences with any positive outcomes and care to share any information, as I believe the process could take several more weeks, or perhaps referred to Aus. Embassy in London for further checks - this is what I hear....
I am not due to travel for at least 6 months, for my 2-3 week holiday, so trying to be prepared early for my anticipated trip.

The referral is automated based on your declaration, it's Christmas and VACCU are always busy so it may take a while but from what you're said it'll simply be a case of rubber stamping. Only cumulative prison sentences of 12 months or more, served or otherwise, will cause you problems.
