ETA visa numbers? what if you dont know them?

ETA visa numbers? what if you dont know them?
on my mum and dads visa application form (contributory parent visa), it asks for dates etc when they have been to australia. it also mentions ETA visa numbers. what if they dont know them? can this part be left blank?

thanks for that, thats what i have put, the dates they went and just put ETA at the side of where the visa number should go. do you think that is sufficient?

Just put all you can remember - when you travelled, the fact it was an ETA. They can check it easily enough, what they are looking for is honesty!

thanks for that. although i cant understand why anybody would want to be dishonest about a trip to aus! i did say that to mum and dad, but they are perpetual worriers!
