Estimated time for visa endorsement 175

Hi,

I applied for subclass 175 on 7th April 2012. Everything has gone smoothly so far. I have three questions:
1. When can I expect to receive request for medical clearance and PCC?
2. What is the division of time from visa allotment to landing? For instance if I receive the visa May 2013 I will as I understand be given time till May 2018 to complete 4 years in Australia. Is it ok if I land inFeb-March 2014 and stay the last for years in Australia. Will I be allowed to leave incase there is an emergency?
3. I want to sponsor my parents after I land. What are my options?

I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks

No one can tell you how long processing will take.

See http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Visa_Validation-Australia for validation rules. you usually - but not always - have 12 months from the date of your pcc/medical in which to enter Australia. After that you have a re-entry facility on your visa for 5 years and can come and go as you please. After 5 years you either need to get citizenship or a RRV - see here - http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Reside...Visa-Australia

If your parents meet all other criteria you can sponsor them once you are settled here. See www.immi.gov.au for the different visa types.
