After an Australian spouse visa is granted to someone currently
residing outside of Australia, what are the entry requirements to
activate it? That is, in order to keep the visa valid, how long after
the visa has been approved must one enter Australia? Move to Australia?
Just wondering what the maximum time period is one has to take care of
wrapping up affairs in the other country before s/he must relocate to
Australia.

So for example say your Meds where done 2 Feb 2006 and Police checks done 17 March 2006. You would have until 2 Feb 2007 to enter Aus.

Thanks. By "enter" do you mean simply enter the country to activate the
visa (which could be part of a vacation, etc) or would one actually
have to start living in Australia within this period of time?
